Why do I, occasionally, take a complete, if uninformed, dislike to someone?

He doesn’t help his cause by having grown a small beard which must take longer to groom into its neat little shape than if he just shaved. On the whole I don’t like beards – other than on men who live in the Alps, milk goats and are your grandfather.

A beard hides dead giveaways to a man’s character. The lower face equivalent to the guy whose soul seeks refuge behind a pair of dark shades, even after the sun has set.

Give me an open eye and a clean shaven chin any day.
