Rachel, at last a kindred spirit. Someone who knows that whilst looking for her glasses they are most likely propped up on her head. Sometimes I wonder where my brain is; only to find brain reassuring me that - since confined to the insides of my skull - it's unlikely to escape. Doesn't mean it won't shrink - out of sheer spite. Yes, me and my brain ... if ever there was a special, make that volatile, relationship. In fact, sorry Rachel, going off at a tangent here: What would my brain do without me, its rightful owner? Can see the headline now: "Orphaned brain needs good caring slightly off kilter home to go to. All offers considered. Omega Three pills and plenty of water supplied".

Yes, the advent calendar. Ideas growing at most alarming rate. As you said in your email probably a little late for inception this year. But in collaboration between you and me who knows what the world and its countdown to 24/25th December will see in 2009. Won't it be lovely to sweat over Santa in the middle of July?

Yes, scissors. Poultry turned out useless. However, back in business: Two down, two to go.

Why is it that scissors always do that? They are mischevious.

Yesterday I was drawing (someone gae me this idea to do an advent calendar you see) and paused to pick up my latptop and double check layout calculations. When i got back to the drawing could I find my pencil? I could not.

I scratched throuhg my pencil case, picked everything up and looked underneath, stood up and had a shake, shoved my hand down the sofa cushions.

I could not find it anywhere and my shoulders dropped ... which is when I noticed a strange feeling behind my ear ... from the pencil which was resting there whilst I took apart the lounge looking for it.

See this is just one of the reasons that exercise is dangerous.

Although as Mr Creative will confirm you can get questioned about by some bloke about God whilst in your pyjamas in your own house.

So they were right at primary school after all - God really is everywhere. Seems it's just sometimes he shows up in a distinctly creepy kind of way.

Maj, you clearly have done your research.

I am a bubbling cauldron of emotions; which sends the cooler temperamented hiding for cover - and what a nuisance that is. By the same token, yes, I am, most certainly, very independent and self sufficient.

Scientist? Definitely not. Forensic detective - close. Author of suspense - even closer.

Dear Maj, what a question to ask: Do I love and feel loved? Most unequivocally yes on both counts - though sometimes the twain does not meet to complete satisfaction.

Maj, I like an inquisitive mind. I don't want to add to your torment but still have to be opaque: The gossip was great, the reality even better.
